Since he was a small boy, Mosab Hassan Yousef has had an inside view of the deadly terrorist group Hamas. The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas and its most popular leader, young Mosab assisted his father for years in his political activities while being groomed to follow in his footsteps. But everything changed when Yousef embraced instead the teachings of another famous Middle East leader. What he learned changed his life and could alter the course of his country's future forever. In Son of Hamas, Yousef reveals new information about the world's most dangerous terrorist organization and unveils the truth about his own secret role, his agonizing separation from family and homeland, his dangerous choices, and his belief that the mandate to "love your enemies" is the only way to peace in the Middle East.

Accurate book
I lived in Israel for a while and this book is right on. I traveled extensively as I studied the history of the land and this book is perfect for the average American looking for some insight into the conflict of the region. Easy read. You won't be able to put it down.

Son of Hamas
Simply one of the best books I've ever read. Brings readers up to speed on issues they couldn't previously see clearly. Action packed to keep the reader's interest and portrays the only true hope in a hopeless situation: that someone raised on pain and hatred could turn 180 and break the cycle of violence, and that amongst humanity's insanity, the true redemptive God is still at work.
