A good read. Not only can you learn a few winter survival techniques; the book surely is a testamonial to human endurance and the perils of artic travel and life. That a "war" was fought in Greenland during WW II was news to me. But the conditions involved in "fighting" the war and the personalities involved makes for a good story of heroic proportions.
