An accidental hearing opened me up to Within Temptation. It's not a run of the mill kind of music. Intense, clear lyric, multiphonic (or is that symphonic?)...a touch of Metal and a touch of Orchestra. Did I say touch? Try hammer! The vocals are a thrill of their own but it is obvious to the listener that Within Temptation is built of some serious musicians who pull their learning from many spheres. The compositions of their songs is worthy of respect and deep appreciation. A worthwhile buy to add to a collection.
