How wonderful the thought that space is so thickly strewed with these island universes, that we have already described no less than ten within the limits of a single constellation, without exhausting its riches! From many of these objects the light has been on its journey thousands of years, with the speed of 12 millions of miles in every minute of time? It is in wandering among these stupendous objects that the mind becomes overwhelmed and bewildered with the boundless universe of God. Each point of light a sun. each stain upon the blue vault composed of millions of glorious orbs as grand as our own sun. Engirdle each and every one with its retinue of circling worlds, and no power of arithmetic can compute their number.
