Enjoyed the movie as a look at the lifestyle of a people sometimes so misunderstood. There is a lot of similar situations that all families face just different ways of dealing with issues. Looking forward to the final chapter in this series of books scheduled to come on Hallmark this year.

I am sorry to say I truly was disappointed with this movie. It did not come close to the beautiful book that Beverly Lewis wrote. If the trilogy is continued I hope they will do a better job. It is a wonderful story that deserved better than this production. The actors and actresses were good but sometimes not believable as Amish. Example: Old Order Amish couples do not wear wedding rings. The "father" in this case did.
Sorry to be so negative and I would encourage others to watch but read the book first or read after and then judge. Hopefully this did not end the story because there is a lot more than that bus disappearing down that country lane.
