This was a good film, but I don't rate it as highly as Robert Osborne. The re-make with Van Johnson, Judy Garland, and C. Z. Sokol (In the Good Old Summertime -odd choice for a Christmas movie) was better; the music lifted the story, and Judy projects her character much better than Margaret S. did. Buster Keaton is delightful, too.
