While it's not as good as the original trilogy, it's well worth a read. After Jaenelle's witch storm cleansed the realms, the landens killed off most of the remaining Blood in Dena Nehele. Now there's no Queen left who can rule the Territory. In desperation they ask Daemon's help. But the Queen that Jaenelle picks isn't quite what they wanted. But is she what they needed?
The book partly is about Cassie and her saving Dena Nehele and partly about Jaenelle, Daemon, Lucivar and Saetan, telling us a lot about how their lives now go on.
