Good+ No Dust Jacket. 270 & 271-539 pages, plus illustration plates. Lovely full leather binding with tooled decoration, and gilt stamped lettering on spine. Raised spine bands. All edges of text are gilded. Marbled end leaves. Both volumes have inked names on the blank front free end page. Volume I shows several small ink splashes on page 146 and adjacent plate. There is a little light rubbing on covers, though otherwise this volume remains very nice. Volume II shows a worm hole at the very foot of the joint where the top board is joined to the spine. There are two other very tiny worm holes seen along the same joint. There is a little light foxing scattered through Volume II. Both volumes remain tight and attractive.
