this video is superb. Stevie Carole and Lisa seem to have it all -- a great riding stable with an amazing riding instructor called Max, beautiful horses such as Starlight, Prancer, Commanche and Cobalt, and acres of trails and fields to ride on. At Pine Hollow Stables the 3 girls have formed a club called - The Saddle Club. The girls are all trying to perfect their riding skills at Pine Hollow under the tuition of Max, whilst coping with the nasty Veronica whose stubbornness leads to the death of her horse. The girls deal with their own changing interests, the impending birth of a foal, various other horse health concerns, and the presence of handsome young men such as Red the Stable hand, who fellow rider Kristi has a crush on and Phil - another rider who has a crush on Stevie. Carol is still contending with the death of her mother, a veterinarian whose shoes she would like to follow in, which lead to doubts, when she does work experience with Doctor Judy the Vet. Stevie is trying to stay out of Veronica's way, while maintaining her interest in horses, even as some of her friends strike out in other directions and Lisa is trying to figure out life, and what she will do in the future. Well worth watching, but as there is a death of a horse in this video, younger children may find it upsetting.
