Weather can involve much complexity, mathematics, etc., as well as microclimatic data that can be fascinating but may not interest all readers. All of climatology cannot be included in one book. Henson doies an excellent job, aided by the format in which boxes on particular topics, good illustrations, and intriguing ideas and good sequencing of material play roles. Are all of those climatic diagrams in the back of the book necessary? Depends on who you are. The explanations that go with them are excellent, however.
