So how do we maneuver and manipulate one to overlap another? We shouldn't. We should embrace the hardest stories and the easiest stories because they are both real stories and lives to many. I wrote The Rose Garden feeling empowered and knowing that in the end, a powerful message is coming across, no matter how worthy some may deem it or not. It is real. The story and the journey are real, and I hope, just a little, that someone else can experience it and find the comparisons and contrasts within their own journey.
