Based strongly on Evolutionary Psychology, Phase One of courtship is the Sexual Attraction Phase, where the three steps - Boy Meets Girl, Ladies and Gentlemen (step 2) and Winning and Losing (step 3) - take place for a couple who develop passion for each other, before becoming friends or partners to grow closer in those ways later in the relationship.
