"Terri Hewitt tells a remarkable story of tragedy, hope and healing in this book. She carefully weaves her story of survival in a way that draws the reader inside her experience. You will find yourself beside her in a struggle that loses lives and saves lives. A powerful experience!" Jim Smoke Speaker, Author and Life Coach Palm Desert, California. REMARKABLE TRUE STORY OF BEING BURIED ALIVE AND MIRACULOUSLY SPARED In May 2005, Terri Hewitt was buried alive in rocks during a five-second mountain avalanche. She remained underground for nearly two hours till she was found and unearthed. Though she heard her own students next to her utter their last grunts and moans, she herself was supernaturally spared the throes of death. Miraculously, not only was she unburied physically but also later delivered and released from the inner turmoil of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Physical, emotional and spiritual cords of death, chains of bondage, and darkness of confusion can be overcome in and through Jesus. Through Christ, the Rock which saves, we can recover and be set free from tragedy, and also dream and live again in fullness with resurrected hope and faith. A native of California, Terri Hewitt has been sharing the gospel while living overseas for the past 12 years. She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with her BA in Psychology in 1989. During those years of undergraduate work, she was involved extensively in leadership with Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship. Beginning in the early 1990's, she spent over seven years in Kyrgyzstan and over three years in Taiwan, teaching young adults English while befriending them with the good news of Christ. She has also lived short term in Kenya, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Russia and China. In 2004, she received her Masters in TESOL from Azusa Pacific, California.
