Rise of the Wyrm Lord picks up the story of Alleble where The Door Within left off. Adian is seemingly stuck in his world while his new found, and headstrong friend Antoinette is being called to The Realm.
Rise of the Wyrm Lord has something for everything. A scary monster, headstrong heroine, and dashing knights in armor. And yet evil is still showed as such, instead of glamorized as in many books. Stubbornness has its' own price it exacts on our heroine. Last but certainly not least, and the answer to every problem is not a sword blade.
Rise of the Wyrm Lord is a solid fantasy book I can recommend to all middle school and junior high readers.

Rise of the Wyrm Lord
In the continuation of The Door Within trilogy, author Wayne Thomas Batson weaves another masterful story about the mirror realm.
This time it is Aidan's new friend Antoinette Reed who is called into the Realm shortly after Aidan meets her. After entering the Door Within, Antoinette is called to be the twelfth knight in a mission to Yewland. What follows is a harrowing journey through the mysterious Blackwood in which they find the hiding place of the Seven Sleepers. However, they finally make it to see the queen of Yewland. They discover that some Paragor knights have just recently left and go after them. Because of a rather unfortunate short-cut, Aelic (Aidan's Glimpse) and Antoinette arrive before the others. Antoinette learns that Paragor's right hand man Kearn, is actually the glimpse of Robby, Aidan's friend. While in our world Antoinette was asked to try to reach him for King Eliam. Antoinette barely stops Aelic from killing Kearn and he escapes. Later that night, Antoinette sneaks out of the castle at Yewland and takes a dragon to Baen-Edge. While there she finds a young Yewland girl who is being sold as a slave and buys her with her sword and sets her free. The continue after Kearn until Antoinette is captured by him. Paragor has released the Wyrm lord to wreak havoc on the free nations of the realms. Will the armies of Alleble hold fast or will they break before the Wyrm lord?

The adventure is not over!
Rise of the Wyrm Lord, by Wayne Thomas Batson, is an allegorical Christian fantasy fiction with many moral themes. Aidan Thomas, a mid-teen boy, is back on Earth after his adventure in the Land of Alleble. He sets out in search of his old friend Robby, in order to turn him to allegiance with the true King. He meets a new friend at school, Antoinette, who he finds to be Gwenne?s twin on Earth. They talk about his adventures, and Antoinette wishes to go to Alleble herself. She gets the chance when a poem appears on the back of her copy of Alleble?s history. Aidan asks her to find Kearn, Robby?s twin on Alleble, and to convince him to follow the King. She leaves, and Aidan finds out he has gotten an opportunity to go to Maryland, where Robby lives. Antoinette, now in Alleble, finds herself assigned to a mission to set in stone the allegiance with Yewland, for they have been told of things Alleble has required of them, when in fact there were no such things. She must decide whether to complete her mission, or fulfill her promise to Aidan before it is too late.

Loved it!
Meet Antoinette Reed, a girl with fiery hair and spirit. She meets Aiden at his new school in Colorado, after he got back from the Realm. He discovers that Antoinette believes in The Story, the book version of the scrolls Aiden had found. Antoinette is called to Alleble, ready for danger. She is to be the twelfth knight on an important mission. Danger, friendship, courage, fun, and more are melded together to create a perfect piece of work.

Blue Eyed Microscope
This is one of my all time favorite books! The story picks up were 'The Door Within' left off.
On the first day of school Aidan's life looks poor. He is back on earth and no one believes him when he tells them about Alleble. Robby isn't returning his e-mails and his Grampin is dead. Can his life get any worse?
Then he meets a girl named Antoinette. Who is this blue eyed microscope?
I LOVE this book and the main reason is because of the characters. Wayne T. Batson is gifted in creating GREAT characters that you have to love.
GREAT book! I would recommend this and all his books in a moment.
