Loraine Boettner (pronounced BET ner) was Presbyterian and spent most of his life in academia. If one wishes to study the Five Points of Calvinism (TULIP) under a true Calvinist, this is the book to read. The appendix compares the Five Points of Arminianism and the Five Points of Calvinism. Boettner's writing is clearly expressed and agree with him or not, he makes his points strongly without being argumentative. This book was copyrighted in 1932 and has stood the test of time.
