The book is great for all readers, especially those on the go, and young children. Only thing that it is missing is the foot notes, which explains the verses for people who don't understand the verse this is the most helpful part. But you have to get Abdullah Yusuf Ali, translation Arabic to English, for English readers. However for Engish reader's it great, its the New Edition of the Quran. I think its best to have both copies to compare as you read with your family. The Hardback gives more details.Great size for travel.

Fascinating and enlightening
I have no idea how accurate the translation is (although it has been highly praised by people who would know), but it is graceful. The translator has thoughtfully inserted words that the typical reader would know are there but which actually are not. And fortunately, the translator has seen no reason to trick it out in modern English, the current fad in Bible translation. Provides a good view of what Islam is supposed to be (but often now is not).

why the horror regarding this book
having now read this translation I can not understand the reason why the western world is so scared of the muslim world. the very word muslim! merely means believer . the book constantly refers to THE BOOK. which I take to mean the Old and NEW TESTAMENT. any true believer in these Holy works would find very little difference between these books. the fact that MUHAMMAD Is regarded as the greatest of the prophets. is the main bone of contention along side the belief also accepted by any thinking and educated person that Christ mayof been a very well blessed prophet himself.
i recommend this book to all those wishing to understand the base of the muslim world
and also how far from the strict rules there in
that the extremists have strayed.
