The Queen's Dog (Empire At Twilight #3) by N.L. Holmes
Another fantastic read by Holmes. Reading this series always leaves me hanging on for more. I absolutely love the historical crimes she writes.
Naheshi is sent to live with the King and Queen. He's told to spy on someone he holds dear. When something happens things don't go as planned. The quote I chose for Naheshi is: ââ?¬Å"My lady, I am grieved to tell you theyââ?¬â?¢re true. But who knows what was in her heart? My lady the queen is high-spirited. I think the discipline of her routine was hard on her. I feel sure she meant no harm.ââ?¬Â?
Highly recommended for historical crime lovers. This book will keep you attracted from beginning to end.
