None. Good. A biography of Warren Hastings, written by Sir Charles Lawson. The first Governer-General of Bengal and latterly a Privy Counsellor, Hastings was also noted for being found guilty of corruption and his subsequent impeachment. Contains numerous illustrative plates and vignettes throughout, as well as a pull out illustration of Hastings' trial. In cloth binding with gilt detailing. Externally sound, there is wear to the extremities, joints and backstrip as well as sunning to backstrip. Internally, the hinges are very fragile and several endpages are partially detached. Internally, the binding is tender in places and the pages are generally bright and clean throughout aside from some offsetting and minor spotting and foxing to endpages. There is also a stamp to pastedown. Good.
