Seller's Description:
Good. No jacket. First edition. Foreword by Kenneth Rexroth. Some light rubbing on covers, very clean inside. There is some very light rippling along top edges of pages that appears to be from pressure like something heavy sitting on the book *not* from moisture; barely noticeable.

Seller's Description:
Very Good. Trade wraps, very good, light wear, inscribed by Jeffrey Miller, the publisher to Bill and Roz Targ, an important NY publishing couple (Bill Targ was a major publisher, editor and author; Roz was a literary agent to a number of fine writers, including Calvino). Laid is a small blue postcard printing a poem of Tinker's, plus two good typed letters to Bill Targ from Miller, summer 1969, newsy, on various book topics of interest to both: Miller was a longtime Gotham Bookmart worker before becoming a publisher, and mentions the Frances Steloff memorial, plus his work as an editor of Paul Bowles's letters and as Bowles's bibliographer. He goes on to complain about shoddy treatment of publishers of a new biography of Bowles and also how Japanese businessmen are taking over the world. Very 1989. Includes a carbon of Targ's reply.
