Seller's Description:
202p. SIGNED BY PETE ROSE ON THE FRONT FREE ENDPAPER. A hardcover book and dustjacket in good condition. The bottom edge of the book spine and rear panel is waterstained but the staining did not penetrate into the pages. The jacket is mildly edge worn but still whole and intact, Rose has signed his name at the bottom right of the front free endpaper; there is a second gift inscription by the former owners on the top left of the same page. Intrduction by Joe Garagiola. A signed first edition of the first of Rose's multiple autobiographies. Written in the author's glory years when he was a young player destined for future greatness and long before his sordid gambling history came to light. One of the greatest-arguably the greatest-on the field baseball players of all time and one still likely to enter the Baseball Hall of Fame after his death.
