Just so you know how this book is written: it is historical fiction but reads like an inferior romance novel. I have read much about Paris and Hemingway so I knew of Sylvia Beach and thought I would like more insights into her bookstore venture.
It's not historical fiction. It's mostly about her lesbianism and her inner desires. In the first 30 pages, every page, the author can't get off the subject. She has Beach constantly driven by her sexual and romantic impulses.
If you want a romance novel, I guess you could do worse. Looking for history in a fictional context, don't waste your money.
