The doer,3 what is to be done, and the means, as a whole--keeping in mind those three, let him strive for the accomplishment of the business.4 216. Let the king, after he has thus considered all this (business) together with the ministers, taken exercise and bathed, enter at noon the harem to eat. 217. There let (him) eat food well tested by faithful attendants, (who are skilled in times8 (and) not to be seduced, (which has been enchanted) by mantras which counteract poison. 218.
