Written by an MD who integrated castor oil treatments into his practice, this book gives plenty of examples of case studies to show us how powerful something so simple can be. He often quotes Edgar Cayce's actual words to illustrate a point.
Edgar Cayce had a rare gift of being able to connect his own subconscious with that of an ailing patient and in a trance, communicate what needed to be done to help the patient heal.
Dr. McGarey studied Cayce's work and used the principles in his own medical practice. He describes what happened, adding his own beliefs and observations.
This is not a western medicine style scientific treatise. He skips around and brings in spiritual and sometimes religious beliefs into it. And uses many medical terms that I simply didn't know, and didn't look up, at least not during this first reading.
If you're a fan of holistic medicine, it's helpful and encouraging to read about all the different ways that something as simple and humble as a castor oil pack can support your health. Especially valuable when conventional medicine fails.
