The X'ena, who are also a part of this war have sent a symbiotic probe to Earth to help defend it from its fate.This Probe, which takes the name Paladin merges with a human named Caleb Ocoda, as well as an ancient Battleship from a century ago, transforming both into a force to protect the earth. Caleb becomes something much more than any could image, as the ancient Battleship then becomes the most powerful warship ever created in the galaxy.Caleb hastily recruits the most skilled people from the planet to help him battle the T-Challa in a carefully orchestrated plan to save the Earth. Unfortunately, the powerful ship suffers damage during its battle, effecting Caleb, wounding him. It is quickly discovered that Caleb is dying and with him the mighty ship named Paladin, the only defense of earth.After searching all possible answers to save himself and protect the earth, Caleb resolves that he must find these X'ena, in the hopes that they can cure him before his death but time is short and the single ship must travel through the heart of the T-Challa Empire to find the X'ena and save Caleb.
