He asked what part of the mountain was the most woody and concealed, and we told him that it was this very spot where we now are; and it is so, for if you go half a league farther into the mountain, you will, perhaps, find it a very difficult matter to return: and I marvel much how you have got so far, for there is neither high-road nor by-path that leads to this place.
