I am a relatively new student of floral design, and am searching for ways to arrange flowers in new, fresh, exciting ways. I also have so much to learn about using colors, textures, shapes and sizes to enhance the beauty of an arrangement. This book was absolutely LOADED with beautiful designs, instructions, techniques that were both easy to follow, and lovely to look at. There were ideas for silks, fresh, and dried flowers and greenery. There was a whole "How-To" section on drying techniques, including recommendations for which technique to use with which flower or fruit.
I only have experience with silk flowers so far, but this book made me long to plant a garden, so I could have all sorts of fresh flowers to work with. I also want to begin drying flowers and fruits and greenery, to be able to make some of the wonderful dried arrangements shown in the book.
It is loaded with great color photos, and simple instructions in each section. This book has become the foundation of my design library! I will keep it FOREVER!!
