I thought this book was great when I first read it and I was very innocent. Over time I have learned that we definitely don't make our own reality. If we could why can't we have three arms or three legs? There are clearly facts about our reality that we can not affect. However, I have learned we can influence our reality and we can manifest certain factors in our lives. If you really want to know about the nature of reality learn to spend some time every day just perceiving without thinking and taking our thought-story seriously. When we learn to access that formless awareness that is behind our perception, behind our thoughts, and which makes our perception and our thoughts possible, then our lives begin to work better.
