Newport, England: R.H. Johns, (1948). A very good copy of this uncommon book, inscribed by the author on the front endpaper. Very good. Finely printed on heavy paper. An account of the short-lived Welsh porcelain firm started in 1813 by William Billingsley and Samuel Walker. Studies the characteristic decorations of birds, flowers and landscapes by Thomas Pardoe and the later decorators based in London. Supplement One is provided in facsimile at rear.
