Good characters, interesting storyline, excellent writing. Though I wouldn't want the author(s) of the Ian Rutledge series to stop telling us his addictive tales, I must say this foray outside Rutledge's realm is quite a page turner.

Although I really enjoy the 'Inspector Rutledge' series by Charles Todd I didn't like this as much-quite a disjointed story line and the charecters were hard to understand!
