Very good in good jacket. Octavo, 249pp. A rather bright and clean copy, very good or slightly better. Spine gently cocked, and some rubbing to the cloth at the extremities. In the rare dust jacket, which is good only, reinforced with paper at several spots, and with some loss at and near the base. Still a presentable jacket on this rare mystery title, which was Davis's first book. Davis died of a likely suicide just six years after this book was published.
