John Abbott's eloquent and powerful illustrations provoke a parent to focus on the child's soul; not just their mind (i.e. education) or body (i.e. health). Abbott clearly understood that the child will one day grow up; and how he or she is raised now will affect the end result (Proverbs 22:6).
