I first bought this book when it came out in 1978, and for 30 years I've bought countless more copies: for my friends, my daughter, my niece, & several more for me as I "loaned" my copy out. It continues to be my favorite time-travel/historical/adventure/romance novel. Yes, it has it all! I will continue to recommend The Mirror for another 30 years.

Loved This Book!
I first read this book when I was in high school, and I never forgot it. I've been searching for a copy for years now, and I'm thrilled to have finally found it!

An Old Favorite!
Do you like books about time travel or inhabiting the body of another person? Do you enjoy reading about sympathetic and sometimes eccentric, but always engaging characters? How about storylines with clever and creative, yet believable, plot twists? Are you interested in the Victorian era or the 1970s? What about life in Boulder and Nederland, Colorado in these two time periods? This book has it all and manages to be a page-turner as well! This title is highly recommended; the only problem you'll have is in putting it down once you start reading. Enjoy!

Great book, great read!!
The Mirror, by Marlys Millhiser has been one of the books I never want to find myself without! Although it can read as slightly dated, it pulls the reader in on a fascinating travel down memory lane, topped off with a bunch of what ifs? This book has been around since the 1970s, and with good reason. It has become one of the best friends I could have and I find myself loaning my copy to people all the time! This is definately a 'timeless classic' in my world!
