The discovery of Dr. Livingstone at Ujiji, his subsequent travels and lamented death, together with the mission Of Sir Bartle Frere and the works of other travellers, have all combined to arouse an intense amount of popular feeling. Will this public interest be brought to bear in the right direction? If so, under the Divine blessing, Slavery and the Slave trade in Africa may speedily be abolished.
