Geen cloth covers with gold lettering and design on spine and front cover in a green (two shades) dust jacket with photos on front panel. The book is in good plus condition with a bit of soiling to fore-and top edges and a creased page. The covers are in very nice condition and the contents are tight and clean. The dust jacket is in similar condition with just a bit of wear. A nice copy.; Illustrated with black & white photos.; 8vo 8"-9" tall; xvi, 600 p. pages; On the front end page there is a presentation inscription in green ink (the endpages are light green) from Clyde McKee the president and CEO of the Stark Foundation. Although the recipient isn't named, McKee writes that he enjoyed hearing his stories about Mr. (Henry? ) Stark at Shangri La Gardens in the early 1950s and that everyone at Stark Foundation hold him and his grandparents in high esteem. Illustrated with many black and white photos. A well-researched book with extensive notes and bibliography. A comprehensive history of the Lutcher family and the Lutcher & Moore Lumber Company in Orange, Texas which became the largest lumber company in the country.
