Good. No Dust Jacket. Signed by Author(s) Signed. A Good copy in decorated green cloth, top edge gilt. Two hand-written letters in envelopes are laid in (the envelopes are glued to the endpapers, the letters are loose). One is 1899 from Elizabeth S. Deland, thanking the recipient for his kindness to Mr. Stoddard. The other is 1896, from the author. Both are to editor/author Henry Rood. There is also a long gift inscription from Rood to "Dottie", and a clipped poem by Stoddard glued to the verso of the frontispiece. No dust jacket.
