None. Good. A copy of the Life of Henry Labouchere. Henry Du Pre Labouchere (9 November 1831 15 January 1912) was an English politician, writer, publisher and theatre owner in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Labouchere, who inherited a large fortune, engaged in a number of occupations. He was a junior member of the British diplomatic service, a Member of Parliament in the 1860s and again from 1880 to 1906, and edited and funded his own magazine, Truth. In a blue cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, sound with slight rubbing. There is some bumping to the top and tail of the spine. Spine is also slightly discoloured. There are the remnants of a paper label to the front board. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with some scattered light foxing, and numerous ink library stamps throughout, including to the frontispiece and title-page. There is a bookplate to the front pastedown. Good.
