Strikingly contrasted with the strength and manliness of his character, and with that dauntless courage for which he was at all times distinguished. When he began to speak, he at once commanded attention. Even at that early age he had acquired a large amount of miscellaneous knowledge, and had learned to express original views in fluent and for cible language. But his conversation.
