" I make these assertions from a comparison of facts, rather than from a discussion of motives; but my opinions, however inefficient to carry conviction, are strictly impartial. I do not impute to the whole population, or even to the major part of it, the low scurrility which marks and stigmatizes the present proceedings. But under what plea do they join the French? Seller's Description:
Very Good. No Jacket. The boards are quite shelf rubbed and edge worn. The spine is beginning to tear along the edges, and the coloured paper is chipping away from the binding. Despite this, the boards remain sturdy and the text on the spine legible. Internally, there is age related foxing and edge-wear throughout, but the pages remain neat and complete. Tightly bound and in very good condition indeed, considering the age of the book! JK.
