The works gathered here are the result of close collaborations between artist and printer, with the artists-John Buck, Enrique Chagoya, Bernard Cohen, Red Grooms, Don Ed Hardy, Jane Hammond, Robert Kushner, Hung Liu, Hollis Sigler and Betty Woodman-always working in residence. With Shark, on-the-spot decisions are made at every stage of the collaborative printmaking process-from how a plate can be made to the right paper for a given image.
