Seller's Description:
Very Good+ No Jacket. Book. 8vo-over 7¾-9¾" tall. A study of the social and political development of an influential early U.S. family. First edition. A clean copy in remarkable condition with no writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates, though the pages are slightly browned. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Boards show some wear to the corners and to the top and bottom of the spine. There is also a small (1/4") spot on the front cover, perhaps from a drop of liquid. Otherwise the boards have retained their royal blue color and gold gilt lettering, though the latter is a bit faded on the spine. Includes a fold-out family tree just after page 438. No jacket. This collectible, very good +, first edition copy is protected with an archival mylar cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
