The writer chose to begin her literary journey through her first novel "The laws of the lost Era" to discuss the meaning of justice; the highest meaning which we live by. The novel reflects many meanings and significances of a story that took a place in an unidentified town which a number of kings governed it, without declaring a certain place or time to highlight values of public events in order to reach a certain result regardless of the place and time of the novel. Also, it reflects various categories of people with strange names, who turn in those social and political surroundings. The novel addresses many issues such as persecution, deficit, richness, poverty, freedom and justice crisis which figures a big prominently. We will see that through the laws of Justice: First, he who kills must be killed before the whole people. Second, steals, his wealth must be taken back, if he doesnt have, he must be expelled out of the town. Third, he who kidnaps or harms others must be whipped and placed in prison. Fourth, the first day of next month of each year will be a day of people to know each other. So did they achieve the justice by the regulations? Another issue the novel discusses is what people want from the ruler, through presenting four different characters of kings, and they are Ronil, Donis, Romer and Moral. King Ronil loved his people, put the laws of Justice then left the throne later for king Donis who did not make anything to the people only killing the innocent Moral, after that King Romer law who tried to give something for the town but his end was in. The novel highlights a spot light on the position of Minister which Arthu abused it greedily to loot and plunder the people ofthe town and exploited of its closeness to the king to put his hands on others properties. Where are human rights when innocent people such as Moral are tortured without any guilt? What are the criteria which humans gain their rights by, without distinction? .....Where few years ago, the body of Raul killer was thrown, which nobody saw his body through out those years, but Arthus body was discovered in a short time in spite of the fact that the place is the same.
