The author Datus Proper drove all over Portugal with his friend in an old diesel/manual Peugout station wagon. They hunt , eat , philosophy and relate Portugese history. I did the same trip 10 years later and found it to be pretty much the same as they found it. Nice ruminations on portugese wines and , of course , fly fishing the crystal clear trout streams. You will love this book ! I did.
