Seller's Description:
Poor. 13.3 X 11.3 X 0.6 inches Fair condition. unbound, with cover very much rubbed, almost entire cover art has loss of color and design image. wear to cover spine ends, and bit wear to cloth at points. But not stained. TEXT BLOCK IS ENTIRELY DISBOUND, ALTHO ALL SIGNATURES ARE INDIVIDUALLY SEWN, THEY ARE NOT BOUND UP INTO THE COVERS. THE ENDPAPERS, BY NECESSITY HAVE BEEN TORN AT THE GUTTER. The text pages do show some signs of use, but are not torn, worn, or marked up. The original plates appear to be all here, and color quality is very nice thruout each plate. There are 15 full page glossy prints and 9 half page or smaller color illustrations, not counting the ENDPAPERS, front and rear, nor cover art. Does not show any sign of previous owners, nor removal of such.; has 47 numbered pages, with title page starting the count. plus final blank sheet & endpapers. Several color plates are before the numbered pages/plates. FINAL NOTE; the mull cloth is still well attached to the covers, and the back ep is not torn away at the gutter. It could be re attached to the text block, and with care be offered as is with the severly compromised front cover art.; 47+eps pages; I offer this as a Repair copy, or a breaker copy, It could contribute plates to restore a better copy...(it has page 35/36 for instance)...and could be broken, for art display of the remaining plates, since the original binding is in such decrepit condition. I do not intentionally sell books to be torn apart, but this case is an exception.
