The ram represents strength and power, it signifies a shoot or horn which is a symbol of a higher state being brought to the mind, a consciousness of spiritual joys. In the thicket represents the wild, prolific growth arising from our lower nature into which God has entered as a shoot 0r power, because, we are through faith in the soul, willing to give up our choicest in the earth (or Isaac). God works this way to build up the mind. We follow him in his works. Faith is the guiding star to rule and direct us into a knowledge of God. Those who possess the strongest faith must be nearer to Abraham as their father for he was to be the father of many. The father or cause of elevation, and all the nations of the earth were to be blessed, because he obeyed the voice of God. Do not forget that we are dealing with facts. (You may not see as clearly now as you will in time.) If you determine to know or have the faith that Abraham represents then you will be blessed and the blessing will prove more wonderful than any miracle that could be performed, for you will be able to read aright the book of nature, which is God. As you read it all things are manifest, for G0d is in you operating through law and order. We know why the Bible tells us that man should read as he runs. The book is open, nature reveals all things. The spirit discerneth all things, it is the letter that killeth; therefore, if we desire to liberate our spirit that it may penetrate all things, we must go about it in an orderly way and unfold.
