Covers are very thin, and the staples have penetrated the cover in a number of areas, these spots are prolific but not very large in size. Cover art is unaffected, and looks relatively fresh and new. Cover has numerous very small tears at the edges and the spine has some wrinkles, but the overall appearance of the book is very attractive for a book this cheaply made that is over 100 years old.
