Seller's Description:
Near Fine. No Jacket. The condition of the book has been determined according to its age. For a book that is over a century old, it is remarkably well preserved. The boards are strong and square, with some slight edge wear near the spine and some light rubbing. The gold gilt has dulled over time, but the charm of the boards remains. Internally, the first and last few pages are quite foxed. There is a chip out of the corner of the front end page, which is severely foxed. The foxing does not extend into the text of the book, however the top corner of some of the pages within is slightly creased, and the picture plate within is also foxed. There are no markings or inscriptions and the pages are whole and complete. The binding remains strong. Altogether a very charming little book. JV.K.
