American Caving is a fairly private matter; it's difficult to get information about new finds and existing wild systems. This is a good thing, or we'd have the ATV crowd driving their vehicles through the formations... This book records what is possibly the most sustained period of exploration undertaken by particular people. It's worth reading just to get to knoe Herb and Jan Conn!
