I have most of Oliver Sacks books, and this one was somewhat of a bummer. Not his usual fact-filled, scientific, medical book, but more of a philosophical journey. It seems to be more of a travelogue.
Not very interesting, although he does drop a couple more details about his personal life, which seem to be hard to come by. The jacket photo seems revealing as well.
I buy his books for medical mysteries and investigations, which he excels at, but this book definitely does not measure up to his usual standards.
