I only read it because I paid for it. And because I thought it was THE Joe Hill. I think this was supposed to be a character study, but this Joe knows nothing about people and should leave this sort of tale to Maeve Binchy who can make you like her characters, not leave you thinking, "Who cares? How much longer until something happens?"
