This is the ninth novel in 'A Chronicle of Ancient Sunlight', a series that follows the life of Phillip maddison from the late 1890s to the early 1950s. The series totalled in fifteen volumes. 'The Innocent Moon' takes place in the early 1920s, a romantic novel that's mostly set in the West Country of England. Written by Henry Williamson, an English novelist who won the Hawthornden Prize for literature in 1928 for 'Tarka the Otter'. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, fine, with a very small amount of bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and a couple of spots to the fore edge. Dustwrapper with a tape repair to the tail to the reverse. Light edgewear and discolouration to the dustwrapper, with a few light spots. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine.
